strength, and knowledge to set, obtain and maintain individual goals.

reach their individualized fitness goals in a motivational, inspirational
and non-judgmental atmosphere.
2. Personal
Training
Personal training is an opportunity for you to work one-on-one with
a qualified fitness specialist. You will receive a program that
has been individually created to suit your wellness level and fitness
goals. Your program will be developed with the mindset that Vitality
Fitness personal trainers have the background, knowledge, and experience
that are essential in implementing programs that will work for you.
Combined with a personal commitment from
you, personal trainers will:
Help you train safely and effectively
Provide encouragement and motivation
Help you set & achieve your goals
Congratulate you on your accomplishments
Provide input for new program/training ideas
The effects of personal training will vary according to each individual
client. Your success and results depend upon your personal application,
realistic goals, and a commitment to the program.
3. Consultation Fitness
Assessment
A consultation for fitness assessment takes approximately 60 minutes.
The initial consultation consists of meeting the client, showing
the facility, review of clients medical and fitness history followed
by a 6 point fitness assessment covering all of the health related
components of fitness including digital photography.
Assessment includes
Cardiovascular fitness
Strength Tests
Flexibility Tests
Body composition
Measurements
Postural Analysis
At the end of the fitness assessment the client will have identified
individual goals and scheduled a first training session and or a
series of sessions. Additionally, waivers, keyless entry key and
other necessary documents will have been received and signed by
the client all collectively added to the clients file. After
the client leaves, utilizing the information gathered, a personalized
program is designed and a trainer assigned. Every effort will be
made to consider your own personal needs, as well as the demands
of your position, in setting your specific work schedule.
Note: A client only requesting an assessment is able to purchase
the full fitness assessment for a separate fee (without goal setting
and a personalized workout program).
4. First
and Future Training Sessions
First session will include: greeting, introduction to trainer followed
by a: short review of facility; medical and fitness history; goals
and; general discussion of personalized program.
Future training sessions include: greeting, review of condition
and implementation of fitness program.
Depending on the goals established with the client, sessions will
generally be one-hour in
length and may include:
Weight and/or resistance training
Abdominal/core strength training
Flexibility / stretching exercises
Interval training
Circuit training
There will be a file providing workouts that address common imbalances.
(i.e. lower back, abdominals).
5. Assessments
Assessments are done again after 6-12 weeks depending on level of
commitment. The clients program will be redesigned to accommodate
imbalances if any.
6. Training
Session
A training session is counted when clients/trainer shows up at the
designated time to meet with the trainer/client.
7. Client
Files
Client files will be stored in the office. Access to the files is
for business related purposes only. All information about our clients
is to be held in strict confidentiality. Each client will have two
files -- the first file will considered a static file and is not
to be removed from the office area. The static file will include:
signature information regarding payment; waiver signatures; keyless
entry form; accounting information. The second file will be considered
the active file and include: assessment forms and data, digital
photographs, session data, notes and any other miscellaneous information
pertinent to the client.
8. Cancellations
To avoid being charged for a cancelled session a 12 hour notice
will be enforced. This allows us to better accommodate our clients.
This policy works both ways meaning that if your trainer does not
cancel within 12 hours you will receive a free training session.
9. Scheduling
Any scheduling issues (cancellations, change of times, etc...) should
call the facility 258-6553 or the trainer directly. All trainers
numbers will be provided to all clients for your convenience. Any
clients who would like to schedule a massage can have their trainer
schedule it for them or schedule directly with our massage therapists.
10. Lockers
Lockers are available to rent monthly. Small lockers = $10/month
Medium lockers = $12.50/month
Large lockers = $15/month
(All locks will be provided by the facility)
11. Keyless
Entry
Keyless entry is available for a $25 deposit for the key which is
refundable when the key is turned back in. At the present time hours
for the keyless entry are as follows:
Monday Friday 5:00 AM 8:00 PM
Saturday 5:00 AM 2:00 PM
Please understand the key is designed for our clients to be able
to do cardiovascular training any time within these hours and not
designed to workout with weights!
12. Retail
Merchandise
All merchandise is available for purchase (t-shirts, bands, meals,
etc...). Everything can be placed on account or checks and credit
cards are also accepted for your convenience.
13. Personal
Training Sessions
Personal training sessions are pre-paid in either 4 (once per week
), 8 ( twice per week ), 12 ( three times per week ), or 16 ( four
times per week ) for each month. You are reserving a time slot for
the month. No one else will be booked in that slot because you own
it. It is your responsibility to make-up missed sessions. You will
have one month from the date of your missed session to make it up.
To be eligible for make-up sessions you must cancel 12 hours in
advance
Your options for make-up sessions are as follows:
A) Reschedule with your trainer
B) Have your trainer reschedule
you with another trainer
C) Saturday morning combat
training boot camp or any classes to be added in the future.
Credit will not be given for missed sessions. However, using a
12 session package as an example, there will be many months when
you get 13 or 14 sessions because of the length of the month at
no additional charge for the sessions. Over the course of a year
you will receive four weeks of free sessions. That is the incentive
for continuing to pay for each month in full. These extra free sessions
that you are picking up here and there balance out any missed sessions
that you may incur due to sickness, vacations, or holidays.
Vacations Any vacations not of extended length should be
made up in full. When on vacations of two weeks or longer client
must make up one week and has the option to pay to keep time slot
reserved or take credit on the remainder of the week(s). If the
client chooses to take credit there are no guarantees that the exact
time slot will be available when they return.
These are days the facility will be closed that are not eligible for make-up.
